He vrienden,
Op dit Engelse forum ( PSR Tutorial Forum ) heeft men een probleemke ontdekt bij volgende 2 voices.
De Jazz & Celtic violin. Op octaaf 2 de G note. Geen tremelo en vibratie.
Ik heb het probleemke ook.

Hello Guy's,
A discussion is developing on CraftyMusic about a possible problem concerning the 'jazz violin' voice on the second octave 'G' note. In brief, the voice does not contain the trem/vib characteristics that all other notes have on that voice ... I have spoken with Yamaha UK this morning and they have confirmed that it is the same on their 'workshop' T4 and can offer no explanation as to why or it's possible cause: They are however going to investigate the problem more thoroughly and get back to me in a few days.
It would appear that it also happens on the 'celtic viloin' same note only and it can be moved about when using the transpose and octave shift features of the instrument.

For those PSR members that are not registered with CMF, I have copied and pasted the contents of the discussion below as CMF has access restrictions in place on most boards to non-members Smiley
It would be interesting to hear if you guys in the US have the same issue ... perhaps you could check it out and respond accordingly so that when I meet with Yamaha on Monday I can say with confidence that it is an issue with all T4's

Jup, klinkt zeer plausibel.
Maar dit zou je dan ook moeten hebben met de lage E snaar van de gitaren... hoewel die nog weleens lager gestemd worden (drop-stemming).
Het is waarschijnlijk geen bewuste keuze van Yamaha geweest (ze moesten wel, want die snaar kan nu eenmaal niet met vibrato worden gespeeld), maar het laat wel zien dat ze het instrument opnemen zoals het werkelijk is, zonder later effecten toe te voegen die dit soort karakteristieke elementen weghalen.

Het is een vrij oud topic maar las zojuist het enige correcte antwoord op dit "probleem", wat aangeeft hoe gedetailleerd Yamaha bezig is om voices zo realistisch mogelijk te produceren.
Naar nu blijkt is de bewuste "G" op een echte viool alleen te spelen zonder dat er een vinger op de snaar ligt. Wetende dat de vinger nodig is bij de vibrato, is het op een echte viool dus ook niet mogelijk een vibrato te maken bij deze "G" noot.
Verwacht dus geen update van Yamaha  .

Klopt. Ik heb hetzelfde.
Normaal gesproken kan je de tremolo/vibratie voor alle toetsen uitkrijgen door aan het modulatiewiel te draaien en weer in zijn basispositie te zetten.
Alle toetsen hebben dan hetzelfde als de betreffende G in het tweede oktaaf. Als je dan vibrato wilt hebben kun je dat met het modulatiewiel naar wens instellen.
Alleen deze G-toets reageert bij beide violen ook niet op het modulatiewiel.
Zal vast wel in een van de volgende firmware-updates worden verholpen.
